Girls Gymnastics Coaches Association Meeting
February 18, 2006.
The Association would like to extend a sincere thank you to all of those who
attended the Special Recognition Luncheon on Saturday the 18th. There was a
tremendous turnout with over 140 coaches, gymnasts, family and friends. A special
thank you needs to be shared with Judy Harwood, Jen Pistorius, Betty Axelson-McClelland
and Charlie Friedman for their help and effort in making the luncheon a tremendous
success. Following the luncheon was the last association meeting of the year.
The nomination for the National team was held and the following gymnasts will
comprise this year’s team.
Elizabeth White: Steveson
Audrey Harwood: Fremd
Katie Blankshain: New Trier
Alana Morgan: New Trier
Cara Hageman: Evanston
Annette Danalowski: Niles West
Abby Chovanec: Conant
Stephanie Lindeman: Conant
Karen Morles: Leyden
Coaches that committed to team are Jen Pistorius, Janine Shinn, Larry Patrillo.
There following fees will be covered by the Association. Assistance with airfare is determined by the amount of participation in the fundraisers by the coaches throughout the year.
National Dues: $15.00
Entry Fee: $125.00 per gymnasts
Coaches: $75.00 per coaches
Location of meet is at Eckert College in Florida
Another item on the agenda for the meeting was the election of officers for
next year.

Vice President: Jen Pistorius
Treasurer: Sarah Mikrut
Secretary: Chris Stanicek
Banquet Committee for next year’s Luncheon will be Terry Theobald and Judy Harwood.
